Protecting
eyes alongwith using Mobiles and Computers

Each
organ of the body performs its own work to enhance the personality of a person.
The parents are very sensitive to take care of their kids. Most of the kids are
being affected with low eye-sight due to use of smart classes in schools,
playing games over mobiles, and use of e-books on computers. It is not accurate
to suggest the decisions for eliminating creativity of the children but at the
same time, the eyes’ health can also not be ignored. Once the eye-sight is
affected, it becomes impossible to improve it even with the use of medicines
and exercises. The loss of vision is considered a big drawback in the
personality of a person. In such cases, the people are caring for their
children by using the following precautions and tips:
1. Taking Brisk Walk on Wet Grass:
The research
has proved that the brisk walk improves the vision and walking on wet grass, in
itself a realization of cooling effect in the eyes.
2. Wearing sunglasses to stay protected from
ultraviolet rays:
The children most of the
time play in sun-light and even in afternoon time when ultraviolet rays are
dangerous for the eye-sight and health. The children should be provided
sunglasses in such situations to keep the eyes protected.
3. Giving rest
to the eyes at regular intervals:
The children are provided
home work from the schools and also get attracted to television and mobile
games. Further, they are also asked to do their work using computers. It is
must to make them habitual to give rest to the eyes at regular intervals
specifically when they feel the restlessness in eyes.
4. Keep eyes
far from infectious hands and things:
The eyes are touched with
the hands usually whenever there is itching in the eyes. The hands should be
washed before touching the eyes. In case, it is not possible, a washed cotton
cloth or handkerchief can be used to touch the eyes. To develop the habit, the
children should be trained by the parents and provide a handkerchief to them.
5. Drinking
adequate water to stay hydrated:
The dehydration leads to various
diseased in body and it is also harmful for the vision of a person. In order to
ensure the health of eyes, it is must to ensure that the children are drinking adequate
quantity of water.
6. Adequate
distance from Television, Mobile, and Monitors:
It is well known that the
watching of television, mobile, and monitor for a long duration, can cause eyestrain
and even lower the eye sight. Therefore, it is must to keep adequate distance
from these things as per the comfort level of the eyes. Too much distance can
also lead to discomfort for the eyes.
7. Comfortable
view (Night Mode) in Mobile and Monitors:
In order to reduce the impact of brightness
and contrast of the screen of mobile and monitors, it is possible to set the
level of brightness and contrast. The night mode can also be activated. To
activate the night mode in monitor attached with Windows system based system,
follow the following steps:

Click Windows Button and Go to Settings
- ·
In Personalization, select the Dark Mode which will make the background colour
of the screen black.
- ·
In Ease of Access, there is option to setup the theme and there a custom
dark theme can also be setup according to the comfort level of the eyes of the
user
8. Regular wash
of eyes after use of mobiles and monitors:
The discomfort of the
eyes if occurred due to long time sitting in front of television or monitor or
after use of mobile; can also be cured by washing the eyes thoroughly with the
cold water. The cold water gives relax to the eyes and the children who use the
gadgets for more time and spend whole day inside the house (in artificial
light); should use lubricants to avoid the dryness in eyes.
In addition to the above
precautions, it is also necessary to maintain the healthy life-style, adequate
diet for health, and physical exercise to stay fit for forever.
