Drinking plenty of water:

To gain good fitness and muscles, it is necessary to drink at least 10-12 glasses of water daily. Doing this helps in the expansion of the muscles. With this, essential nutrients also become available to the muscles through water. Drinking water regularly also ends the problem of dehydration.

Stress Management 

Due to any kind of stress or mental stress, the release of the cortisol hormone starts in the body.  The release of this hormone is not considered good for the body.  The release of the cortisol hormone stops the process of swelling and expansion of the muscles.  That's why do yoga meditation regularly, so that mental stress does not burst nearby. 

Diet with Protein 

To build a good body, a lot of protein is needed. By doing this, the tissues of the muscles get nutrition. If a person's weight is 60 kg, then he needs about 90 grams of protein daily. To meet this requirement, you need to eat rice, cereals, brown bread, and oats.

Good Quantum of Sleeping Time

Getting a good sleep of 7-8 hours every night and getting up early in the morning is considered a symbol of good health. Getting a good night's sleep helps in the recovery of muscles and increases their size. Whereas, due to less sleep, protein synthesis in the body starts decreasing, due to which the muscles do not develop. That's why never compromise the duration of sleep at night.

Yoga and Meditation at Home 

Yes, Yoga includes light exercise postures with the right way to inhale and exhale the breath. Meditation improves blood circulation in the mind. Going to the gym is not compulsory to build a good body. If you do some exercise regularly even at home, then you can get good muscles. These include exercises like pushups, pullups, squats, lunges, handstand pushups, pull-ups, dips, body rows, alternating lunges, side plank, sit-ups, etc. Try to take out one hour daily for these exercises. If it is not possible to do this, then try to exercise 3 times a week.

Omicron - New Variant of Corona

Yes, probably it is the next wave of the virus after Covid-19, however, the awareness of Covid makes everyone take necessary precautions to prevent it. Medical science formed vaccines to boost immunity for fighting with the Covid-19. South Africa and Russia are working to detect the symptoms of the new virus Omicron, known as a new variant of Corona.

The year 2022 - Omicron, a new threat:

The symptoms are different from the earliest virus Covid-19. However, this virus is harmful to people with low immunity. Therefore, the doctors are recommending boosting the immunity for fighting with a new variant of the corona, Omicron. 

The research identified the symptoms of Omicron and found that it's may be a mild disease than Covid but it should be taken lightly because people with low immunity can easily be affected by it. 

It is fact that the year 2020 was horrible due to the influence of the virus Covid-19 and the revised wave of the Covid-19 in the year 2021 was not affected much due to implementing vaccination programs around the world. But in this year 2022, the Omicron may be dangerous. 

Omicron - Symptoms in its patients

South Africa experienced the Omicron virus and the doctors of South Africa recommended to not take this new variant lightly. However, the symptoms of Omicron are different from the Delta variant of Corona.

The president of the South African Medical Association, Angelique Coetzee reported that the patients of Omicron have common symptoms of feeling fatigue, headache, body aches, sore throat, and cough. If these symptoms are not cured with normal medicines, then probably it is Omicron. The symptoms of the Covid-19 and Delta variant of Corona were similar but the Omicron is different in terms of its symptoms. The patients who were affected from Corona earlier should be more cautious as their immunity was weak probably this variant is also affecting the people with low immunity. 

In the Delta variant, the patients had difficulty in inhaling oxygen and that's why the pulse rate was high in its patients and there was the loss of smell and taste in the patients. 

Omicron - Will it be more dangerous?

It's too early to say whether the new variant of the Corona, Omicron will be more dangerous or not. Its symptoms are different than the Delta variant of the Corona. Any disease which is incurable can be deadly and dangerous. Since Corona has already affected most of the countries in 2019 and 2020, it is required to specifically focus upon Omicron and do more research on it. 

The Governments issued the guidelines at par with the earlier variants that are to wear masks and keep social distancing, however, it is not clear whether this new variant of the Corona is also at the same level of affecting nearby people or not.

The World Health Organization (WHO) is keeping an eye upon it and the guidelines are being issued to contain it at the earliest. 

Omicron in Haryana, Delhi, India

The Government issued alerts to restrict the entry of people without two doses of Covid-19 vaccination at various public places. Whoever didn't get the both doses of Covid-19 vaccination, are not given entry at public places so that they not be affected with the Omicron, the new variant of concern, Covid-19. 

No entry in banks, government offices, parks, public vehicles, etc. 

As per the directions, there are restrictions on people who didn't get the both doses of Covid-19 vaccination, in entry to the public and private banks. The Government committed to organise camps for awareness of Omicron Covid-19 and benefits of Covid-19 vaccination. 

The hotels, restaurants, vegetable markets, malls, etc. are allowed only for the people who had taken both doses of the Covid-19 vaccination. The vaccination is mandatory for all the persons above the age of 18 years in India and the students of this age category studying in colleges, polytechnic institutions, and universities are being provided the both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. 

It is worth to mention that a large number of people visited South Africa for watching the cricket matches and returned from there, require surveillance and testing of Covid-19. 

The Indian Government may start giving booster doses of the vaccine to tackle the third wave of Covid-19 pandemic in India.

Practical consequences of Bone Transplantation:

Do you need transplantation of the musculoskeletal tissues of your body? In medical research, it has been proved that the best way to get issues for replacement of bones, from a biological point of view, i.e. to get it from the patient itself[i]. If a person’s bones are not possible to be used in his or her body for treatment of any disease; then the person requires getting the bones transplanted. The biggest complication is still there and that is the transmission of diseases from the donor to the recipient. However, with the developments in medical science, there are processes used to get rid of such transmission of diseases like using sterilization methods. Tissue banks are also being famous where tissues are harvested for the purpose of their use in hospitals whenever required to be transplanted. The tissues are generally kept in freezers at a temperature of 85 degrees Celsius below zero for harvesting purposes. 

Bone Donors:

The bone donors can be classified into two categories first is live donors and the second is cadaver donors. Needless to say, it is mandatory to seek consent from a donor or from the close relatives of the donor; before getting his or her bones donated. With the advancement in technological processes, the allogeneic bone from cadaver donors or live donors has been used successfully and due to such successful use, there is a need to develop more bone banks for procuring, processing, storing, and distributing donor's bones. Bones procured from cadaver donors typically include the humerus, ulna, femur, tibia, ribs, and iliac crest. Bones procured from a live donor typically include a femoral head, a tibial plateau, or ribs that are removed during a total hip replacement, total knee replacement, or thoracotomy, respectively[ii].

The procedure of donating bones:

The surgical procedure that replaces missing or fractured bone in the human body is known as Bone Grafting. There is specialization in doctors, for various parts of the body where bone graft is needed like orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, pediatric surgeons, dental surgeons, etc. Bone grafting is more complex than surgery and requires more expertise; that is why it is costlier. In India, the first bone bank opened at Tamil Nad Hospital in Chennai[iii] in 1997. When the medicines proved to fail to treat human organs, the only solution that remains in the hands of doctors is organ transplantation. But the procurement of human organs has been the biggest challenge for doctors or hospitals. Needless to say, there can be no organ transplantation without an organ donor. Who will donate his or her organs? The living donors may suffer themselves if donate their organs but a cadaveric donor can donate organs including the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, etc.

Legal consequences in bone donations:

The government of India enacted the Transplantation of Human Organs Act-1994 which legalized brain death and regulated the removal, storage, and transplantation of human organs for therapeutic purposes. The act was amended in the year 2011 wherein many new clauses were added to increase the rate of organ donation in the country[iv]. There is not a single bone bank available in North India.  Due to the acute shortage of human organs for transplantation, it is needed to educate people, motivate them for being cadaveric donors and give consent to donate their bodies after death. Today, various Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) are working to promote the noble cause of organ donation. Recently, in 2016, a skin bank was set up in Sirsa, Haryana in North India; the first of its own kind, and that was inaugurated by Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, who used his earnings of ‘MSG 2 The Messenger’ for the establishment of MSG Global Skin Bank at Shah Satnam Ji Speciality Hospital by joining ribbons[v]. At the time of the inauguration of the skin bank, it was also stated by Saint Dr. MSG that a bone bank which will be the first bone bank in North India will be established and its noble cause will be organ transplantation.

Sponsoring the humble task of donating bones:

The earnings from the movies were utilized for making bone bank; with each successful movie, there was tremendous growth in the humanitarian deeds of Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa. The production house ‘Hakikat Entertainment Private Limited’ was also supporting Saint Dr. MSG in this noble cause of setting up a bone bank in North India at Shah Satnam Ji Hospitals in Sirsa. With winning awards after awards in various activities of Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa; Saint Dr. MSG was growing as a spiritual leader of millions with washing out social evils by his tireless campaigns[vi]. The establishment of a bone bank will further contribute in increase humanitarian deeds by making bones available for transplantation.

What do you think, hair fall is a disease or not? I have seen many people aged 70 and over; who have hairs on the scalp and even on the full scalp. People used to assume that as age passes, the hairs start to fall. The problem of hair fall even in old age can be controlled by adopting some good practices. There are various causes of hair fall including diet, deficiency of minerals in the body, stress level, lack of sleep, pollution in the environment, and genetic cause i.e. due to heredity. Let us discuss the causes and solutions to tackle the problem of hair fall:

(i) Clean Dust Properly:

It is a must to keep the scalp clean and it will also reduce dandruff. Therefore, the people facing the problem of hair fall should wash their hair on daily basis.

(ii) Intake of Vitamins:

Sometimes, the diet misses the essential nutrients like iron, copper, zinc, proteins, vitamins, etc. It is a must to ensure the intake of such nutrients by changing the diet and take a healthy diet. The intake of vitamins either through food or through medicines can help in reducing hair fall. The food or diet can include spinach, carrots, cucumber, eggs, oats, walnuts, guavas, etc; to improve the intake of vitamins and minerals essential for the healthy growth of hairs.
Which vitamins help in reducing hair fall? The production of sebum determines the growth of hairs and Vitamin A helps in the production of sebum in the scalp. Further, Vitamin B, D, and E improve the maintenance of hairs by ensuring proper blood circulation throughout the body including the scalp.

(iii) Massage on Scalp:

The blood circulation can also be enhanced by massage upon the scalp. The selection of oil for massage should be done carefully as per the nature of the skin and body of the individual. Sesame Oil, Almond Oil, Bhringraj Oil, Amla Oil, or the composition of Ayurvedic oils can be used to treat the problem of hair fall.
The oil should be gently rubbed over the cleaned scalp and should not be washed for a few hours. If possible, apply the oil at night and wash your hair in the morning.
In case, the oil is producing irritation or discomfort then it should be changed instantly.

(iv) Use of comb only in dry hairs:

It is a normal habit to use the comb instantly after washing the hairs and this also led to hair fall. After washing the hairs, one should give at least 10 minutes so that the hairs became in the dry state, and then a comb should be used.

(v) Avoid Dehydration:

The intake of water in proper quantity is a must for the health of hairs. A dry mouth or throat is a sign of dehydration, one should avoid dehydration by drinking the proper quantity of water, coconut water, juices, etc. The water requirement differs from person to person and the body itself provides signs of taking water, a person should identify the body requirements and drink enough liquids.

(vi) Rubbing Scalp with different products:

The experiments are always dangerous and in case of hair fall, most of the persons require to experiment upon their scalp. The curd, lemon juice, onion juice (antibacterial properties treat the infection of the scalp), garlic juice, juice of Amla (Indian Gooseberry), and Shikakai can be used as per the type of the scalp. The scalp is treated itself and rubbing of the scalp at least twice a week, brings positive changes in the growth of hairs. It is required to notice the changes in the hair growth, the use of curd is famous and should be started first.
The eggs are also applied to treat the scalp because an egg is rich in sulfur, protein, and zinc promoting hair growth. The green tea rich in antioxidants also boosts hair growth when applied on the scalp, it should be applied after soaking in hot water then cooling it and massage on the scalp.
Normally, in the case of oily skin or scalp lemon juice is used while in the case of dry skin or scalp, the curd is used to rub the scalp. These products should be applied for at least 30 minutes on the scalp thereafter the hairs should be washed. The products should not be used without the supervision of a doctor or expert and if possible, firstly detect the nature of the skin or scalp.

(vii) Avoid Smoking and Alcoholic Beverages:

The intake of Alcohol and Smoking reduces the immunity of the body and increases hair problems. The blood circulation is also reduced significantly and it is a must to avoid smoking and alcohol intake to treat the problem of hair fall.

(viii) Physical Exercise to Reduce Fat:

There are plenty of benefits from regular physical exercise and it also improves the immunity of the body. It is observed that the fat people have more chances of baldness than the others because their body suffers from an undesirable level of fat. People suffering from hair fall problems should do physical exercise regularly particularly, exercises meant to increase blood circulation in the head.

(ix) Meditation to Reduce Stress Level:

The higher stress level is also a prominent cause of hair fall and to de-stress the mind, one should adopt meditation with taking adequate quantum of sleep at night. Yoga can also be used to de-stress the mind.

(x) Avoid covering of Hairs:

The hairs stay healthy when adequate air passes through them but not with higher speed. The products which keep the hairs cool should be preferred like rubbing of curd on the scalp. The wearing of the cap, helmet, or other woolen products in the winter season can also lead to hair fall. The covering of hairs led to producing sweat which also causes dandruff.

(xi) Avoid intake of medicines:

The intake of chemicals, medicines including painkillers also affects the hairs’ health. The intake of birth control pills in women may also be the cause of hair fall. The suppression of natural growth of the body affects the immunity level and led to hair fall. One should avoid the chemicals and intake of painkillers and start ayurvedic products to treat the health problems.

(xii) Use Right Type of Shampoo and Conditioner:

The right type of shampoo and conditioner will definitely help to treat the scalp. But it is a must to see that the shampoo and conditioner should not be loaded with injurious chemicals such as silicone or paraben. The Shampoo with fruit extracts, amino acids, Vitamin-E can support the effective growth of hairs and stop hair fall.

(xiii) Avoid washing hairs with excess hot water:

The hot water dehydrates the scalp of the hairs and led to hair fall. As per the season, lukewarm water can be used for washing the hairs.

Apart from using these tips, one should take maximum salad including cucumber, onion, lemon, carrots, etc.

Most people are not aware of the consequences of some habits after taking food. These bad habits lead to serious diseases and affect life in the long term. Whenever anyone takes food i.e. Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner; it is a must to avoid few things to do. If these things are not avoided, then it becomes a habit, a bad habit, which makes the person suffer. Let’s know what not to do after taking food.

Sleeping after taking food is harmful

The food contains a lot of energy; calories a person gains after taking the food. After eating food, avoid having sleep or being lazy for rest. The body requires to burn the calories gained from the food, which means it is a must to walk few kilometers. If it is not possible to travel, then do Vajrasana - yoga posture to digest the food easily. 

After taking food, avoid taking sleep, do this

In this pose, sit back on the legs and take the weight of the body on the knees. Do meditation in this pose, it will not only digest the food easily but also sharpen the mind as well. If a person is facing the problem of constipation, the main reason may be taking rest or sleep after eating food.

Walking with a calm mind or having above yoga posture keeps the mind calm and stable cures acidity and obesity strengthen the muscles and sexual organs by increasing blood circulation to the lower abdominal region. However, this yoga posture is not good for persons who are having intestinal ulcers or hernia; therefore, it is also a must for taking the advice of a Doctor before making this yoga posture a habit after eating food (Frothingham, 2021)[i].

In brief, avoid taking food if you are going to sleep or take rest and after taking food never take rest or sleep because it may lead to improper digestion of the food and there may be gastro-intestinal problems in long-term, making the person suffering from stomach disorders.

Avoid bathing after taking food

Most people wake up and then take breakfast; thereafter take bath. Scientifically, it is very bad. When anyone takes bath, the blood circulation of the body equally spreads among the body organs. The blood circulation to body parts around the stomach decreases to a great extent. 

Avoid taking bath after food

The digestion of food requires blood circulation around the stomach so that energy originates and the food is broken easily. Taking of bath after eating food also decreases the temperature of the body and warming up of stomach, becomes impossible which led to indigestion.

As per Ayurveda, the fire element is required in the body to digest the food and after eating food, the body automatically activates the fire elements. Taking of bath changed the direction of energy (fire) to the other organs of the body and it led to indigestion. 

Avoid Tea after eating food

The taking of tea immediately after breakfast, lunch, or dinner may be a habit of many people. Do not follow such a trend, it is a bad habit. When I asked Doctors, why tea is bad after eating food? It is found that most doctors agree that the taking of tea after eating food, increases the acidity problems and the digestion of food is also affected adversely.

Avoid taking tea after food

Even the body becomes incapable to absorb full nutrients of food due to intake of tea. Some experts recommend taking green tea, but that is also not good, as per the recommendations of doctors. The coffee is also not advisable immediately after taking of food.

The digestion of food generally takes 2 hours, if anyone is addicted to taking tea after taking food, it may be taken after one hour of taking the food. It means, after taking food, walk a while or have Vajrasana pose of yoga for one hour then only tea may be taken (if desired).

In the rainy season, the mosquitoes become more and the fever of Dengue most of the time be incurable due to its fast rapid development in the body. The patients with Dengue Fever face a reduction in platelets. The Doctors generally recommend a specific diet, however, as per symptoms of fever always take the advice of the Doctor before adopting the following diet:

1. Intake of Papaya:

Why it is taken? Vitamin-C enriched papaya improves the platelets and the immunity of the body is also increased. It is easily digestible and the energy level is increased to a great extent.

2. Tea of Ginger:

 The Ginger is anti-bacterial and when it is mixed in tea, its impact becomes more. The hot tea of ginger not only cleans the throat but also reduces the impact of dengue fever on the body.

3. Coconut Water:

Coconut water is recommended because it is full of electrolytes which helps the body to safeguard from fever. The coconut water is helpful in increasing the platelets and the recovery becomes fast.

4. Turmeric:

Turmeric is full of benefits. It contains curcumin, a bright yellow chemical produced by plants of the Curcuma longa species which is a herbal supplement to cure diseases.

5. Orange Juice:

The orange is full of vitamin C which is quite helpful in improving immunity.

However, the above five things are useful for all the patients, but it is a must to take the advice of the Doctor from whom the medicines are taken to cure Dengue fever.

Solutions or Treatment to Virus infections (incl. Coronavirus, COVID-19):

Each disease from a virus infection requires great extra care, a lot of precautions, and treatment depending upon the type of infection. The scientists experiment and invent various tests to detect the infection from viruses, type of diseases, symptoms of each disease, etc. However, which human body will react to what extent after being infected from a virus and how deadly is that virus; determine the degree of impact of that disease upon the body. 

(A) Precautions after being infected:

Doctors and experts suggest staying far from a diet that can be hard to digest and take maximum drinks comprising natural fruit extracts to boost the immunity of the body to fight the infection itself. Coconut water has emerged as a good remedy, aloe vera juices, grapes water also effectively cures the symptoms. Apart from these drinks, the intake of fruits and vegetables (baked in pure Desi Ghee) after being recovered is a must for the recovery of the body's strength. 

(B) Medicines for curing infections:

Once a virus affected the body, the person requires special care. Allopathy is preferred but most people as it comprises a range of anti-biotic medicines which directly worked upon the bacteria infecting the body. In case, the allopathy is not suitable due to a weak digestive system or allergies from medicines; it is better to adopt homeopathy. Homeopathy has emerged as a proper solution to diseases based on symptoms and it treated symptoms with full removal of diseases in many cases. I witnessed the treatments to diseases that are not cured easily even in Allopathy such as tonsillitis treatment is easier in homeopathy than allopathy.
Even Ayurveda has a large potential to treat infections from viruses. वायरस के संक्रमण से होने वाली प्रत्येक बीमारी में संक्रमण के प्रकार के आधार पर बहुत अधिक अतिरिक्त देखभाल, बहुत सी सावधानियों और उपचार की आवश्यकता होती है। वैज्ञानिकों ने वायरस से होने वाले संक्रमण, बीमारियों के प्रकार, प्रत्येक बीमारी के लक्षण आदि का पता लगाने के लिए विभिन्न परीक्षणों का प्रयोग और आविष्कार किया। हालांकि, वायरस से संक्रमित होने के बाद कौन सा मानव शरीर किस हद तक प्रतिक्रिया करेगा और वह वायरस कितना घातक है; शरीर पर उस बीमारी के प्रभाव की डिग्री निर्धारित करें।

(ए) संक्रमित होने के बाद सावधानियां:

डॉक्टर और विशेषज्ञ ऐसे आहार से दूर रहने का सुझाव देते हैं जिसे पचाना मुश्किल हो सकता है और संक्रमण से लड़ने के लिए शरीर की प्रतिरक्षा को बढ़ावा देने के लिए प्राकृतिक फलों के अर्क से युक्त अधिक से अधिक पेय लें। नारियल पानी एक अच्छे उपाय के रूप में उभरा है, एलोवेरा जूस, अंगूर का पानी भी लक्षणों को प्रभावी ढंग से ठीक करता है। इन पेय पदार्थों के अलावा, स्वस्थ होने के बाद फलों और सब्जियों (शुद्ध देसी घी में पके हुए) का सेवन शरीर की ताकत की वसूली के लिए जरूरी है।

(बी) संक्रमण के इलाज के लिए दवाएं:

एक बार जब कोई वायरस शरीर को प्रभावित करता है, तो व्यक्ति को विशेष देखभाल की आवश्यकता होती है। एलोपैथी को प्राथमिकता दी जाती है, लेकिन ज्यादातर लोग इसमें एंटीबायोटिक दवाओं की एक श्रृंखला शामिल होते हैं जो सीधे शरीर को संक्रमित करने वाले बैक्टीरिया पर काम करते हैं। मामले में, कमजोर पाचन तंत्र या दवाओं से एलर्जी के कारण एलोपैथी उपयुक्त नहीं है; होम्योपैथी को अपनाना बेहतर है। होम्योपैथी लक्षणों के आधार पर रोगों के उचित समाधान के रूप में उभरी है और इसने कई मामलों में रोगों को पूरी तरह से दूर करने के साथ लक्षणों का इलाज किया है। मैंने उन रोगों के उपचार देखे जो एलोपैथी में भी आसानी से ठीक नहीं होते हैं जैसे कि टॉन्सिलिटिस का इलाज एलोपैथी की तुलना में होम्योपैथी में आसान है।

The hearing loss can be identified by a person suffering from it. But due to his shy nature and fear of facing shame from others, the person hides such a problem. The disease of hearing loss affects the quality of life and it can be cured only if identified at an earlier stage.

Symptoms of Hearing Loss:

The hearing loss can be cured only if identified at an earlier stage but to identify the disease. A person suffering from hearing loss usually face the following issues:

He/she often ask others to repeat the dialogues during the conversation.
He/she feels a ringing sensation and the noise stay for a longer period in hearing.He/she during a conversation, get half speech of others and the remaining speech remained without hearing.
He/she try to hear the TV or other instruments in higher volume and feels comfortable with hearing the volume at a higher level

Causes of Hearing Loss:

(i) Wax -
(ii) Injury –(iii) Ear Infection -
(iv) Rubella -
(v) Listening to Loud Noise -

A person who consumes most of his time in a noisy environment and stay there for a longer period of time; usually has more chances to be suffered from hearing loss.

(vi) Ototoxic Drugs –

Precautions to avoid Hearing Loss:

- Protect the ears from loud noise.

Always shut the ears whenever it is likely to be in a situation of facing higher volume. Such as on arrival of the train with the loud volume of the siren, at the time of loud music in parties & functions, at the time of firecrackers, etc.

- Never get the ears cleaned from untrained persons.

The persons who clean the ears should be trained. Sometimes, at bus stands and railway stations, untrained persons sit to earn money from cleaning the ears of others. It is recommended to never get the ears cleaned from such persons.

- Never insert any object in the ears.

The ears sometimes felt to be cleaned due to irritation in the ears. People usually use objects to clean the ears like pens, wood, or iron products. It is recommended to never use such objects for cleaning of ears.

- Avoid touch of dirty water in the ears.

The ears are the sensitive part of the body and one should avoid the touch of dirty water in the ears. Even at the time of bath, the soap should not enter inside the ears. Only pure water will not harm if inserted to clean the ears.

- Avoid slapping on ears.

The children are slapped on the ears and this can also be a cause of hearing loss. One should avoid slapping on the ears.

श्रवण हानि की पहचान इससे पीड़ित व्यक्ति द्वारा की जा सकती है। लेकिन अपने शर्मीले स्वभाव और दूसरों से शर्म का सामना करने के डर के कारण व्यक्ति ऐसी समस्या को छुपाता है। बहरापन की बीमारी जीवन की गुणवत्ता को प्रभावित करती है और इसे तभी ठीक किया जा सकता है जब इसकी पहचान पहले चरण में की जाए।

बहरापन के लक्षण:

श्रवण हानि को केवल तभी ठीक किया जा सकता है जब पहले चरण में पहचान की जाए लेकिन बीमारी की पहचान की जाए। श्रवण हानि से पीड़ित व्यक्ति को आमतौर पर निम्नलिखित मुद्दों का सामना करना पड़ता है:
वह अक्सर बातचीत के दौरान दूसरों से संवाद दोहराने के लिए कहता है।
उसे बजने की अनुभूति होती है और शोर सुनने में अधिक समय तक रहता है। वह बातचीत के दौरान दूसरों का आधा भाषण प्राप्त करता है और शेष भाषण बिना सुने रह जाता है।
वह टीवी या अन्य उपकरणों को अधिक मात्रा में सुनने की कोशिश करता है और उच्च स्तर पर वॉल्यूम सुनने में सहज महसूस करता है

बहरापन के कारण:

(v) तेज आवाज सुनना -

एक व्यक्ति जो अपना अधिकांश समय शोर भरे वातावरण में व्यतीत करता है और वहाँ अधिक समय तक रहता है; आमतौर पर सुनवाई हानि से पीड़ित होने की अधिक संभावना होती है।

(vi) ओटोटॉक्सिक ड्रग्स -

- कानों को तेज आवाज से बचाएं।

अधिक मात्रा में सामना करने की स्थिति में होने की संभावना होने पर हमेशा कान बंद कर लें। जैसे कि सायरन की तेज आवाज के साथ ट्रेन के आगमन पर, पार्टियों और समारोहों में तेज संगीत के समय, पटाखों के समय आदि।

- अप्रशिक्षित व्यक्तियों से कभी भी कानों की सफाई न कराएं।

कान साफ ​​करने वालों को प्रशिक्षित किया जाना चाहिए। कभी-कभी, बस स्टैंडों और रेलवे स्टेशनों पर, अप्रशिक्षित व्यक्ति दूसरों के कान साफ ​​कर पैसे कमाने के लिए बैठते हैं। ऐसे व्यक्तियों से कभी भी कान साफ ​​​​करने की सलाह नहीं दी जाती है।

- कान में कभी भी कोई वस्तु न डालें।

- कान पर थप्पड़ मारने से बचें।

बच्चों को कान पर थप्पड़ मारा जाता है और यह भी सुनवाई हानि का एक कारण हो सकता है। कानों पर थप्पड़ मारने से बचना चाहिए।
